oneAPI is an open, unified programming model built on standards to simplify development and deployment of data-centric workloads across CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs and other accelerators.
Extract the most application performance on multiple types of Intel® architecture by using advanced, cross-architecture software development tools from Intel.
The Intel® oneAPI product family includes:
- Industry-leading compilers
- Performance libraries
- Analyzer and debugger tools
- Domain-specific toolkits, including libraries and accelerated workload tools
Native code toolkits implement oneAPI industry specifications and primarily focus on Data Parallel C++ (DPC++), C++, C and Fortran code development. The native Code Toolkit contains the oneAPI Base Toolkit that can be extended with domain-specific toolkit to support specialized workloads: oneAPI HPC toolkit, iOT toolkit or Rendering toolkit.
Data science and AI toolkits support machine learning and deep learning developers who primarily use Python and AI framework. There are two dedicated toolkits available: for AI Analytics and Intel Distribution of OpenVINO.
In addition, for Board and System Bring-Up (requires CNDA), there is an additional Intel System Brin-up Toolkit available that includes the Intel SoC Watch, System Debugger and VTune Profiler. This collection of debug, trace, and power and performance analysis tools allow developers to quickly debug and analyze the entire platform, including:
- Hardware
- Firmware, UEFI, BIOS
- Operating system kernels, device drivers, and more
Regardless of whether you’re in pre- or post-silicon development, the results are:
- Faster time to market
- Optimized performance and power or thermal behavior
- Increased efficiency and productivity
