Support Added for the Intel® Pentium® , Celeron® , Atom® and 11th Generation Intel® Core® CPUs Beyond Mobile Computing for IoT and Embedded Markets
Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and systems management software, today announced that its flagship UEFI firmware product, InsydeH2O® , now supports Intel’s new Pentium® , Celeron® and Intel Atom® “Elkhart Lake” ultra-low power CPUs as well as the 11th generation Intel® Core® “Tiger Lake” CPUs for IoT (Internet of Things) and embedded platforms.
The Intel Atom x6000E, Pentium and Celeron N and J series CPUs announced this week represent Intel’s first processor platform designed for IoT. By delivering improved performance and efficiency, leading-edge connectivity options, and hardware-based security, these new processor platforms help address the escalating compute needs of Industry 4.0, smart factories, edge computing and much more.
This announcement also expands Insyde Software’s support of the “Tiger Lake” class of CPUs for IoT and embedded devices, joining a host of currently supported mobile platforms that leverage the new Intel Core processors ranging from the Core i3-1110G4 to the Core i7-1185G7.
