TAIPEI, TAIWAN – April 6, 2021 – Insyde® Software, a leading provider of UEFI BIOS and BMC management firmware, announced today that its BIOS and BMC firmware solutions are now shipping in the 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor-based servers.Formerly known as Ice Lake-SP, Intel’s latest scalable server processors feature hardened security, integrated artificial intelligence (AI), and significant increases in core count and performance. New features include PCIe Gen4 support with 64 lanes per socket, Exascale storage for up to 6TB per CPU socket, and improved security with enhanced Software Guard Extensions (Intel SGX), Total Memory Encryption (Intel TME) and Platform Firmware Resiliency (Intel PFR). With InsydeH2O® UEFI BIOS and Supervyse® BMC (baseboard management controller) firmware, cloud, enterprise and telecom customers benefit by having secure, customizable and feature-rich firmware to meet the increasing datacenter demands for high performance computing, storage, AI workloads, cloud services, 5G and edge computing.
